A Friday Giggle

Had a giggle when I saw this site. https://bbcmews.co.uk
It takes the website https://www.bbc.co.uk/news and replaces any image with a randomised image of a cat.
Then replaces words like coronavirus, covid, pandemic and quarantine with things like Dr Fluffingtons, kitten, cat party and kitten club.
Headlines become things like:

Dr Fluffingtons:
‘We’re packing frantically’ after France kitten club rule change

I don’t know how they did it, but it certainly made me giggle on a Friday afternoon procrastinating.

It’s very clever. It’s a bit worrying, though. It could have been a bank website, or someone could use the technique to spread disinformation.

someone could use the technique to spread disinformation

Unlike the BBC itself.

It is the Propaganda Department of the European Commission!

Not good. It looks like a hack
