Adding Resources Problems

Hi,
Can someone help with adding resources?
I am currently unable to add resources to either a new or existing RW projects.
I am using a Mac M4 mini with Rapidweaver 9.3.4 and Mac OS Sequoia 15.1.1.
I am unable to add single images by drag and drop, or by adding a folder or by using “add files.”
I’d appreciate any solutions.
Thanks.

Hi @KF12,

What happens when you try to add resources? Do any error messages appear?

A screenshot of any errors would be helpful.

Cheers,
Erwin

Thanks, Erwin.
No error messages appear.
Just nothing happens. The images don’t show up.

Hi @KF12 ,

That’s odd!

Does the same thing happen when you drag files to your resources window AND when you add resources by clicking the “+” button?

Pinging @dang in advance

Erwin

Quite strange, what kind of images? JPEG or PNG?
the images folder is in the same RW disk?

Thanks, Erwin and Michelangelo, for your replies.
After a few days of working on this, I’m realizing that the issue is the location of the project and the files. Specifically, the project needs to be located directly on the Mac desktop, and the folder containing the images needs to be on the desktop as well. Neither can be imbedded in another folder. (Even when I right click in Resources and “Add Files” and locate the folder, it still does not add the images.)
I don’t recall this being in issue in the past; in fact, I recall being able to drag images from Adobe Bridge into the projects directly. And also being able to access images directly on my external hard drive.
I’m not sure whether this is a specific issue to my set up, or to the M4 Mini or Sequoia version, but in any case it appears to be working for now.
Thanks again.
Ken

Hi @KF12,

Did you give RapidWeaver access to the other volume and/or folder?

Check this by opening macOS settings, then navigate to Privacy & Security, then Full Disk Access. Find RapidWeaver and set the switch to “on”. You’ll be asked for an administrator password.

Cheers,
Erwin
