I spoke too soon. I had to abandon using these emojis because the purple and orange versions did not render on our older iMacs. Friends reported the same issue on Chrome. I am now trying to figure out how to use something else, that is, a large centre dot from bullets/stars font on emojis and symbols selection panel. New problems arising from that are being discussed in another thread
