Enlarge title over home page in "Split" or align left.

Hi – I’m brand new… I looked for this answer but couldn’t find it so I apologize if it’s redundant. My page title, which is centered now over a custom photo in Split (Thank you very much for your CSS description on how to do this, Oscar!! I saw you already had answered THAT question), and now that that is done, I need to either raise the title a little or make it flush left as it covers part of the photo I want to show. How would I do that? Thanks so much!

Hi @Seajoule

A big warm welcome to Rapidweaver.

Sadly we no longer have Oscar :sob: a silly emoji just doesn’t do the job here, so forgive me for that.

I’ll try to help, but first would it be possible to supply a URL where I can see the issue? Its a little tricky to advise without actually being able to see the problem first hand.

Thanks.

Great!! Thank you, Stuart. So kind of you to offer. Okay. I will publish it. Maybe put a code on it for now and give you the code because I don’t want the client to see it yet. Appreciate the welcome. Think I had my Baptism by fire on the last site I did – just finished the first publication, but will be adding pages (of course). Did a number of other RW sites, though, some time ago – the latest was MalibuOpenSpace.org. A previous one was ProtectBallonaWetlands.org. I have the domain name and the host of this already, but need to look up the codes and such to publish because it has been a long time since I got the hosting package. Will do so tomorrow. I’m not sure why the date on this thread reads Jan. 30th, however. For the record, I didn’t post until March29th, I don’t think. I’m impressed to have gotten an answer the same day. I thought that since this was a plug-in that I didn’t think was used very much, that no one would know what to do. Thanks again. I’ll try to come back tomorrow . . . the site needs to be done soon. Usually once I get the “cover” done, the rest comes together much more easily.

OH, WAIT… I MUST HAVE ENTERED THAT QUESTION A FEW MONTHS AGO. IT WAS FOR A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT SITE… I FOUND IT TODAY LOOKING FOR A DIFFERENT ANSWER TO A DIFFERENT QUESTION, BUT WHEN I SCROLLED UP, I SAW THE FIRST QUESTION. I NEVER IMAGINED THE ANSWER WOULD BE THAT FAST BACK THEN . . . . AND LATER I DISCOVERED HOW TO DO THAT MYSELF. THANKS FOR TRYING TO HELP ME . . . .SO, NOW I HAVE TO FIND THE NEW QUESTION I JUST SUBMITTED… IT’S FOR THE GAMMA THEME BY MULTI…WITH PHOTOS.
