RW cache files are taking up a lot of space on my system. Will it cause any problems if I delete them?
it’s fine to delete these.
just make sure to Save your projects and Quit RapidWeaver before removing them.
i should also mention – that having a good TimeMachine backup in place is always a great idea too. then you can experimentally try dangerous things (like deleting mystery cache files) without fear as you can always just bring the files back from TimeMachine if all else fails.

yeah, i hear ya but since updating my mac last fall i cant get get time machine to backup
