Chillidog Hosting working fine for everyone?

All my Chillidog sites look to be down at the moment.

Any of CD customers care to check a site or two to see if it’s the same for them?



Yes, mine are down also. Yesterday they were down for a short amount of time (about 30 min) and Greg fixed immediately once he knew about the situation. It’s possible he’s not awake where he lives right now.

Yep, same thing happened to me yesterday. I’ve emailed him and may drop a note on Twitter as well.

It’s frustrating because one of the sites only went live yesterday!


Greg had issues this morning but is working on it. My sites are currently back up.

No issues here. I’ve been working on my websites / email this morning and there have been no problems whatsoever. Try logging into your billing area and make sure you don’t have a blocked IP:

Just checking in with others. My sites and email have been down for an hour or so.

Just checked three of mine and they’re all fine. Check with Greg, he’ll be back to in a jiffy I’m sure.

did your ip get blocked? did you try

If its just you then log into your billing account and unblock yourself


I setup to monitor a non-Chllidog site a few days ago, but figured since the service is free, I’d have it monitor my other hosts too (Chillidog and GoDaddy). Uptimerobot pings up to 50 different sites every five minutes, and will let you know if the site is down. I’m happy to report that my Chillidog site has been up 100% of the time.

@swilliam I was indeed blockd. One of my email accounts had incorrect SMTP settings and that fired off security. I think I will switch all accounts to IMAP instead of POP. Might help with updating across multiple devices.

@dave I will look at Uptimerobot even though these are all my personal sites and CD hosting hs been excellent and service exceptional.
