Contact form returns 403 error after migrating to a new host

I recently migrated my site to a new hosting provider. I’ve changed all publishing settings accordingly, and everything to be working/publishing fine, except for the contact form.

My contact form now returns a “403 permission denied” error. I’ve tried deleting and re-publishing the form, but it didn’t fix anything. I spoke to my host and they said it should work after I set up a new email account in their cpanel, which I’ve done, and added to the contact form settings. Still no luck.

Any thoughts on how I can get my contact form up and running again? The page in question is here:

And the broken form is here:

Hi @Tapdance42,

It looks like the permissions of the folder (on the server) that contains the contact form are the culprit.

If you log into your server, either through FTP or through your host’s webinterface, you should be able to delete the folder /contact-form/ entirely.

Once you’ve done that, re-upload all files from within RapidWeaver. This will create the folder /contact-form/ again, but with new and fresh permissions.

Cheers,
Erwin
