Ok, then PHPMailer is complaining about the certificates not matching.
Try using an email account you’ve set up on your Chillidog hosting account, not your Apple mail account. Enter your Chillidog SMTP server details in the form, publish, and test again.
Let us know what happens, and if you need to send those logs again you can send a private DM to me here or you can send them to support@realmacsoftware.com so I can take a look.
Ok, can you log into your web hosting panel >> File Manager and find the log file per the above post? If the logs folder doesn’t exist, create the folder and then try sending the form again on your website so it will generate a log file.
Send those logs files to me in a private DM here or you can send them to support@realmacsoftware.com so I can take a look.
The api check isn’t returning a successful message on your contact page. Perhaps not everything is getting uploaded/published from Elements to your web hosting account. Just guessing though.
ny host settings were just fine till you had an update…the only thing is I didnt spot it when it happened…and guess what…they still work if I use RW Classic!!!
Yep I believe he pushed out those updates in 1.0.9 today as mentioned in this post Elements 1.0.9 (23745 )
Hmm, how about creating a test email account in your one.com hosting panel, and sending me your project file and those test email account details so I can test the form on my server?
How am I supposed to do this! I tried via the forum and it denied the upload, I tried via direct email and that denied me to, how exactly do I send the log files to you?
Hang in there, me and @ben are going to dig into the form a little more tomorrow, but it seems most people have managed to figure it out, it’s often just a config issue…
Can you email @dang with your email account details, he’s a whizz at email and server side issues Send it to support@realmacsoftware.com
Oh, and it might be an idea to include an Elements cloud link to your project in the email too
looked at this and the one they recommend was…whoosh that was the sound of php and coding going over my head!!! when I add an email account the smtp has always been send.one.com and was here in my first forms that worked. this info says mailout.one.com. never used that before but didnt make a blind bit of difference.
now im really giving up…I will delete the form and leave a button that will email me via their on email program.
Hi, in general you will have to use the SMTP settings from the Hosting provider. Due to security reasons and SPAM protection, most Hosting providers do not allow to use any other Mail provider in Forms other than their own.
