I was wonder if there were any way to keep a blog post “fixed” in one spot on the page without having to change the date every time I post a new post.
For example, I would like the advertisement for my book, Core Training for Distance Runners, to always remain in the 5th “slot”.
Does this make sense?

I don’t think that possible…
You can, however, add the book image and URL to the nav sidebar under the navigation perhaps, then it is on every page and clearly visible without having to search.
