I have been using RW for ages, since version 3 at least, and loved the Foundry system. I admit to not upgrading beyond Foundry 1.38 when I should have, and then I was out of commission for a year or so for various reasons. Now I find that this version of foundry don’t work with RW 8 or even on an older computer with RW 6 where I originally created them. I have numerous websites to edit - am I stuck having to start them all over? Is there any way to get an upgrade? I am willing to beg, plead, etc. It was a real blow to find that the system no longer exists - it was really wonderful for us.
Would be grateful for any suggestions. Thank you!
Hi @Shadowbot,
If you describe what you’re doing and what kind of error or behaviour you see, maybe we can help fix the problem.
Foundry 1 should still work, especially on older machines using older versions of RW.
Cheers,
Erwin
Dear Heroic - Thank you for the quick response. When I open my project in RW 6 and try to preview, I get a blinking screen where “exporting home” runs over and over.
Hi @Shadowbot,
Could you check what happens if you stay in edit mode, and then press COMMAND+P?
This should open your preview in an external browser instead of the built-in one.
Cheers,
Erwin
