If I run Google Webmaster tools on a RW sitemap it comes back as ‘not found’, if I then open that sitemap remotely via FTP in TextWrangler, make a minor change to be able to save the document, then revert the change, save again and then point Webmaster tools to the same file Google finds it fine - any ideas why?
