Help If Anyone Has A minute Please

(James Dexter) #1

I have published my site to test it but get the following error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION, expecting ‘)’ in E:\Domains\c\XXXXX.com\user\htdocs\rw_common\plugins\rapidcartpro\data\config.php on line 94

This is on Shopping Cart Pro. My Web Hosts said I need to update the following. Does anyone know which boxes I need to tick please to make it work?

The options are as follows…

ASP.NET None 3.5 4.5 (Recommended)

PHP 5.2(End Of Life) 5.6 7.0 (Recommended) None

I think you have to update your php settings.

Yes, you have to update your php version.

Depending on your host, you can go into your cPanel, find the PHP section, and updating is often as easy as a button click or two. If PHP7 is an option, I’d go straight to that.

If you’re not comfortable with that, a quick chat with your hosting provider and they should be able to upgrade you pretty easily.

Upgrading the PHP worked everyone thank you. It has now stopped my “Directions” map from working from Yazool but one problem at a time.

Thanks all :-}
