So I need to create a dev site for my website. My host is ionos.co.uk and I have created a subdomin however I can’t see how to create a user for that subdomain? (I will email there tech support ) but just posting on here in case anyone uses them!
Not sure what you mean by “a user”?
There online help doesn’t really give much info. Most hosting companies when you set up a sub-domain you just get another directory on your host account.
So if you set up a sub-domain called dev.example.com, there would be a directory dev.example.com.
To use that you would just change the path in your publishing settings to point to that directory.
This can vary from host company to host company.
