How to enter html into TotalCMS blog

(Michael Forte) #1

I’m using TotalCMS and want to enter straight html into the text field of the article but it only allows hipwig. Is there some special way to enter html?

If you’re using hipwig, make sure you’ve selected the html option in the admin core.

Thanks! I verified it was selected in the core but I don’t see it showing up when published to the site. Aside from checking the html box is there some way add that icon to the hipwig toolbar?

Check box?
in admin core, you can set what does and does not show on the hipwig editor menu.
you need the symbol </> on.
is that what you are referring to?
Did you try re-publish all files?

Clear your cache too.

It’s very strange. I have the HTML selected and republished twice. I cleared the cache multiple times and I have the following toolbar no matter what I select.

What version of RapidWeaver are you using?
What version of the Stacks Plugin do you have?
What version of Total CMS do you have?

RW 7.4.1
Stacks 3.2.7
Total CMS 1.3.13

Send in a ticket to support@joeworkman.net and we will take a look at it. Include your zipped RapidWeaver project file (this is the file you open in RapidWeaver, not the exported site).
