How to point a page to a file in my file manager

Not sure if I’m describing it right, but,

I am using an internet service for my recruiting. They had me set up the necessary folders in my site’s file manager. www.integrity-eds.com/Jobs/all_positions

In my RW project, how do I create a page within my project so that after publishing my site, you will be able to see that page in my menu AND when you click on it, the link will take you directly to that page?

The recruiting page is already created so I don’t need to create anything on that page, as you’ll see when you click on the link that I provided above.

All help is greatly appreciated.

Use an offsite page and paste the URL in:

I believe you’re looking for an Offsite page: and then you put the link in.

I think you do want the “use redirect page” ticked (as in @teefers post) if you’re using RW7 as there seems to be a bug in RW7 which causes a crash if the box isn’t ticked. See below:

@thang I saw posts about that but I have not seen any issues with crashing… probably because I have the complete url?

Actually I didn’t experience the crash - for me RW7 would just not publish the page unless it was checked, and i was using the complete URL as i recall (should check though). So there’s seems to be some variation in what people are experiencing. It apparently ranges from normal behavior as you seem to be having, to what I was seeing, and others having RW crash. Hopefully it will be resolved the next update. :slight_smile:
