I’ve made a mistake: I’ve moved some pictures of my website project fro internal (SSD) drive to a NAS and now obviously RW is way slower in handling the project : Is here an efficient way to keep track of what is where and then relocate the assets?
thanks!
I upload the assets I use for my projects, organizing them by folders onto the hosted server. This is called “warehousing”. Right clicking on each asset will give you a specific URL that you can copy and place into the image stack. Most of these stacks have the option to paste in that outside URL. This does help with the accidental relocation of resources stored on your Mac as well. I also create periodic backups of those server assets, just in case there are server issues at some point. Any FTP client can help you with the uploading or downloading of server files.
