I believe that Kalendar also requires a separate jQuery version to work, though I am playing around with it now. We always use the built-in version when possible, but with some of the more complicated stacks, it is not always possible. I’ll see if there is any other way around it.
I’ve given you a possible workaround solution above for how to avoid a surplus jQuery call in my RWML stacks.
Regretfully Foundation is not a framework I do any work with or have experience of using. Not sure about the significance of ‘vein’ in your code. I’m more of a Bootstrap and Timber guy, as that’s what the day job demands!
Looking at pages like http://newdesign.gentsespruiten.com/page-6/supportus.php these would be easy enough to build with a regular free or paid theme design. I don’t know what your attraction towards a blank framework was originally, but a conventional theme might have worked better for you.
As a form of mediation in this case, if @weavium is able to set me up with an extended trial version of the Kalender stack, I can certainly look to see if it can be made to work in my themes. Nobody else has told me of any problems between Kalendar and my themes, so I remain optimistic it can work. It might be possible to finish with a website similar in appearance to what you’ve started already, without much additional time or cost.
As much as it’s considered ‘best practice’ to avoid duplicate jQuery calls in webpages, I’ve been in this game long enough now to know that it’s not always possible to abide by this rule. I trust @weavium in saying there isn’t a workaround solution to this problem in the Kalendar stack. I suspect that much like the Instagram API wants its own version of jQuery, other services like Google Calendar API demand the same.
Unfortunately the modular nature of RapidWeaver means it is simply impossible to test every possible combination of addons together. There always will be instances where some don’t work together.
You can contact me though the ThemeFlood.com website if you want me to test this some more and supply the project file and Kalendar stack to look at. I can give you a second opinion of how to proceed.
I agree that I don’t think it’s necessary a stack conflict, but rather a theme conflict of sorts. In the error console it shows that there is trouble loading a stylesheet due to a font-family titled “Gill Sans-MT”, “Gill Sans” . . . etc.
Maybe this error is stopping the rest of the page from loading as it should.
