Link - Custom Attributes question

I am using a dropdown menu with anchor links. After clicking on the menu and selecting a link, the menu stays open and I have to click again to close it.

I would love to have the menu close by itself after clicking a link. The easiest way to do so is to reload the page, then jump to the anchor.

Question: Can I somehow use the Custom Attributes to force a reload?

First of all, that’s not possible with custom attributes.

In addition, reloading the page isn’t a good option for anchor/hash navigation.

Only possibility I see is that the developer who provides the drop down navigation does this with help of JavaScript itself.

Thank you

have you checked Popdrop from BWD? I am using it for the mobile menu with the anchor stack (Doobox) for scrolling to points on a one page website. Popdrop closes on click/touch.
Can be used with anchors on the same or another page.

Can you provide a URL to your site? I’d love to see how that works.

Hi David,

you can check

Looking at it on a phone you will see the Popdrop Menu. On desktop and pad it is a “normal” menu with scrolling.
