Links to specific points on other pages

What can I use to redirect a visitor to another page on my site and a specific point on that page. Is there something that will do that for me

Anchor points. Better someone more knowledgeable should explain!

Im aware of anchor points wrking on the same page, it’s going to a certain point on another page which I dont know about
