I am using classic to maintain a couple of site and am looking at Elements.
It says: “Local data storage”, separate content from design.
Today I use Alloy as my blog software… What will this “local data storage” be?
This works like a local database, so it’s not online editing. Here’s one example of local data in use for the FAQ Component:
Elements will support blogging, but to start this will be local. We have plans to eventually extend this so you’d be able to add data from online sources, but we’re not there yet.
I’d suggest continuing to use your current solution with RapidWeaver Classic, and keep an eye on Elements as it develops.
