I have just upgraded to stacks v4.0 but have lost all my old stacks such as super forms

It’s possible that he has a maximum version of Stacks set that it will run against. So it could be set to not support Stacks 4. I don’t have a copy to see if that is the case. I am not sure why he would do that since for the most part all stacks should work without issue in S4.
This is the same problem as posted 2 items down only basic stacks showing up and cannot find others
I don’t know what happened but I went back and used my backup of the adding folder then reinstalled stacks 4 and all is now well.
This sort of thing is often a symptom of having more than one copy of RW installed somewhere (on a TimeMachine backup usually). When an old version of RW gets launched, and that old version kept its add-ons in some other location – one that’s undoubtably contains a different set of add-ons – things can get confusing.
You may want to do a Spotlight Search for all of the RapidWeaver app copies you have. If you only find one – whelp – then you can safely ignore me. 
But if you do find a few copies of RW, then you may want to compress/archive/remove/whatever the older copies. It’s probably safe to delete them since there are few reasons to start using an older version, and Realmac is nice enough to maintain an online archive of various versions if one few reasons ever does crop up.

Many thanks for taking the time to look at my problem and as normal I think you hit the nail on the head as I had several versions still hanging about that I have now deleted.
By the way many thanks for developing stacks 4 it is a great asset and will make life easier.
