Making menu page unavailable?

I know the topic is not very clear. Is there a way (using a 3rd party theme) to make a menu item not link to a page?

Example: I have a “Products” tab in the menu with sub/child pages. I’m looking for a way to make the “Products” tab not selectable (if that makes sense?). I just want it to be there to display the drop down sub pages when you roll over it.

Is this possible within Rapidweaver?

You could use an “Offsite Page” with “#” as the link. Then nest you sub-pages in the offsite page.

Also, I think some themes allow you to switch the top level menu off if it has sub-pages, but I don’t use themes so I’m not 100% about that.
