Updated to latest Rapidweaver.
Over 1,000 stacks do not now appear.
Where are they being held?

HI @Ymugmike,
Don’t panic, I’m sure they are still on your system. Do you have a custom location setup for your addons?
RapidWeaver won’t delete files from your Mac, but just to make sure they have not been moved by the system, can you also check the Trash?
I’m sure we’ll be able to get you back up and running, hang in there!
Hi Dan,
Please advise where I might find the custom location and what title it may have.
I am also having an issue with Stacks 5 asking for Stacks 4 serial number as well which I cannot find.

Hi @Ymugmike,
Unfortunately we don’t have access to Stacks license codes because we aren’t the developer of that plugin. You can try to look up your old Stacks 4 license code on their order lookup system here, or perhaps you can locate your license code in an old order confirmation email that you should have received.
Regarding your Stacks disappearing, can I ask if you upgraded your version of Stacks 4 to Stacks 5 recently? There have been reported issues of entire Stacks libraries being moved to the trash bin on your Mac when upgrading from Stacks 4 to Stacks 5. Some people have been able to retrieve them from the trash bin, others have not been so lucky as they had the trash bin set to auto-delete after a certain amount of time.
Let us know so we can further advise.
EDIT: Also I had to redact your screenshot in your prior post because it included your Stacks license code for version 5. Please don’t post license codes publicly, as that would allow anybody to use that license code for free.
Hi Dan,
I never did get reply from YourHead about the missing Stacks.
However, I found a copy on an external drive and ended up installing them in <P97H7FTHWN.com.realmacsoftware.rapidweaver><Stacks.
No idea how I managed it, but it appears to be working.
Regards,
Michael
Thanks for the update. Happy to hear you were able to locate those missing stacks on an external drive. Always great to have backups.
