Paragraph Pro (BWD) with Read more not working in Chrome

Hi,
I am using Paragraph Pro from BWD with the child stack “readmore”. It is working as expected in
Safari and Firefox but not in Chrome on Mac. Could not test on Windows.
Any idea/help why and how this could be “repaired”?

It is working for me just fine in Chrome (78.0.3904.108 ) Mac

Ooops - then something is wrong with my Chrome…

Version 78.0.3904.108 (Offizieller Build) (64-Bit)
Mac OS 10.14.6
Macbook Air 13" 2017
