Problem upgrading from RW 8.1.5

I can not install the RW upgrade from 8.1.5 to 8.1.7 When I click install at the final step RW shuts down. When I open RW again I am still on version 8.1.5
My OS is El Capitan.

You should ideally upgrade from El Capitan. RW8 only officially supports Sierra, High Sierra and Mojave

You could also try manually upgrading.
Just download from here and copy to the applications folder.
