Project not showing as changed when adding site-wide code

Please provide a few details in the following format so we can help you as quickly as possible!

RapidWeaver Version: 6.2.4 (14912)
System Version: 10.10.5
Hardware: 15-Inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display, 2.7GHz Processor, 768 GB SSD Storage, 16GB Memory.

Issue:
(RW projects don’t show as being updated when meta tags or site wide code is added.)

Expected Result:
(all pages should show as updated.)

It’s unclear to me as to whether there was a question here or not, but If anyone reads this and is having an issue where they are making changes and not seeing them on their published site then check your server to see if there is both a .html file and a .php file.

99% of the time when this happens to me it is because the page switched to php because of a stack or partial. The browser reads the .html file over the .php file.

Remove the .html file and all should be well.

My point is that RW shows changes generally but specifically doesn’t when adding meta tags or other site-wide code. Thanks for this tip however

Oh, do you mean it doesn’t mark the page as changes within RW with the little blue dot next to the page name?
