@Fuellemann @MartWaring If you have all of the icon filled in the Web Icons tab, you should not have any 404 errors for any icon. Are you sure that you are not adding additional meta tags for other icons on your own? Or maybe it’s the theme?

Heh Joe. Yes that is my point. Initially, I didn’t fill in the Web Icons tab with anything. I then noticed the 404 errors on my site. Usually I would go to the realfavicongenerator to generate web icons but if I do that it doesn’t remove the 404 errors. To avoid 404 errors it seems that I am forced to use the Web Icons tab.

None of them are 404. Maybe there was an issue with one or two of the icons added into the web icons in your project?

But what happens of you do NOT set any icons in RW do you get the 404?

My problem exactly. I’m being forced to use the Web Icons tab - even though I can generate web icons myself and have done for several years now using the real favicon generator.

Sorry. I misunderstood. I thought that you were trying to use the built-in icons with RapidWeaver. I would consider that a bug then.
