Hey Weavers,

Here’s the latest beta of RapidWeaver 8.1, I know I keep saying it, but I think we’re just about ready to go GM.

What’s New in Build 20573b?

• Open in new window from a menu item now works in themes
• Further improvements to exception handling in plugins
• Fixed a crash in RWBookmarkManager
• Fixed an issue with signing into an SFTP server using a public key
• Various other fixes and improvements

• Dark Mode for Mojave now supported
• Added Amazon S3 as a Publishing Destination
• Touch Bar support added
• Added support for resizing the preview in the main window
• Added support back in for copying a resources URL
• Added a new drop down menu to the Simulator toolbar button
• Added iPhone XS Max to the simulator window
• Added an option to disable OpenGraph metatags on a per page basis
• Add a new preference to disable UI sounds
• Multiple selection is now supported in the Resources Browser
• Resources can now be dragged from a child folder to the root resources folder
• Source list layout is now restored between opens

This has fixed the issue with SFTP and signing in with a public key. Great stuff

@tpbradley just implemented a workaround for a long standing crash that was being caused by Apples WebKit. We thought it best to ship another update so everyone can benefit.

I know you dont support use of RW 8 with el capitan but should I up grade from 8.03 to 8.1 ( I do need to keep to el cap due to Illustrator issues at the moment ) Rw does work its a little weird around previewing but i can live with that

I am sure you will be happy to get this one behind you. This is something you have been wanting for a very long time. Congrats on the “just about ready” release.

Thank you for update, in this version, it seems that they corrected what they wrote in other topics. But there is a question, can you add an Android emulator, please?

The simulator isn’t an emulator, it only previews a page at either a preset (iPhone/iPad etc) or custom size, it doesn’t spoof the userAgent.
As there are many many many android screen resolutions it would be near impossible to have a dropdown list with them all on. Use the custom setting and specify the res of the device you want to test.
