I know this is similar to other posts, but need some clarification. Looks to me like a redirect is the same as .htacess file. If you do a redirect through cpanel, do you also need to update your .htaccess file?? or, is doing a redirect good enough?
When you make a redirect in Cpanel, it actually writes it to the .htaccess file
