Hi,
I have re-exported and uploaded my blog using 6.3, which is meant to generate descriptions for each blog post. But when I check the posts’ source there is no description meta data.
However it does seem to be creating a meta.js file for the blog.
I have also tried the new 6.3.1 beta 1.
What am I doing wrong?
If you look at the blog’s source alone, this will not show the metatags updating. First, ensure your blog has its own description tag. Then, on the blog page in Safari, switch from “Source Code” to “DOM Tree”. This option shows the effects of the Javascript being run, to update the description (and as Google parses JS you’ll get any SEO benefits).
