Finally upgraded to Mac OS Catalina 10.15.3 and upon opening RW 8.6 I’m getting this message.
.
When I go to the Stacks site it wants to charge me for an upgrade to v 3.5.7. The version I have in my addons folder is 3.6.3b4, found at /Users/myname/Library/Containers/com.realmacsoftware.rapidweaver/Data/Library/Application Support/RapidWeaver/Stacks.rapidweaverplugin
Color me dazed and confused. How do I correct this issue that currently has three sites held hostage?
I have also found and Addons folder at: /Users/myname/Library/Group Containers/P97H7FTHWN.com.realmacsoftware.rapidweaver/Library/Application Support/Addons
The Stacks.rapidweaverplugin in this folder is version 3.6.7b1
Make sure RapidWeaver is looking for your plugins in the right place.
Check the preferences here:
Hope that helps.
Thanks for the tip. However, when I navigate the path to my Addons folder. It always defaults back to “Managed by Rapidweaver”
That’s a beta version (the b4). You can get the last stacks 3 production version(3.6.9) here
Thanks again @teefers. Any reason why I shouldn’t move to Stacks 4?
Got. 3.6.9 installed. All is well. 4.0 is the paid upgrade. Cool. Thank you so much!

It’s got quite a number of new features, glad you got 3 going. When you have time check out these videos on stacks 4.
Thanks Doug. Very much appreciated.
