In InDesign you can open a second view of the same document you are working on. This is a very useful thing to work on some section that requires to repeatedly “look up” things in another section.
Now that the majority of my pages are built with TotalCMS I frequently find myself jumping from the content pages to the respective part of the admin page in order to setup things. With plenty of content components a admin page with all its corresponding stacks will take a time to load.
This is a perfect case for a “second document window” feature which would allow me to view my content pages in edit mode while I am putting together the admin page.
Just open a new project and drag your content page in, I do this all of the time when building complex sites.
