Selling embooks / best way

Does anyone have any experience of selling ebooks online?

A potential client has about 10 books.
She does not like Amazon, so she would like to go another route.
She is using Gumtree which … does the trick but I’m sure there is a better way!

Thanks.

(Also can one send the book direct to kindle when purchased?)

Ecwid lets you sell up to 10 products for free and is easy to integrate into a RW site. This might be helpful.
