SVG Adjustment type issue (and resource ordering issue)

I was noodling around with SVGs in Elements and noticed that many of my SVG elements had a purple outline/stroke applied to all of the shapes contained in the SVG that I hadn’t included.

In looking at the SVG component I noticed that ‘Adjustments’ while set to none, also included a fill and stroke option. In selecting the stroke option I noticed that it had already been set to include the stroke that I was seeing, despite the fact that the adjustment was set to none. Changing the stroke width to zero fixed it, but none should have avoided the issue in the first pace.

Also, I noticed in the resources panel that dragging an item to the bottom of the resources list places it inside the item above, rather than at the end of the list. Moving the cursor towards the left doesn’t change the insert position like in many apps, so the only way to add an item to the bottom of the list is to drop it on the ‘Resources’ label at the top of the list.

Sorry about the GIF quality, but I keep getting a ‘format not supported’ error when I try to upload mp4s.

Doh, that’s a bug! We’ll get it fixed.

We’ll take a look and fine-tine this behavior!

yeah, it’s annoying the forum doesn’t video, I use YouTube for longer videos, and CleanShot for quicker videos!

While we are talking about SVG files. Are there specific requirements for the STROKE and FILL to work in Elements. I have tried unsuccessfully with a number of my SVG files to use the stroke and fill options but they never work, so I’m unable to change the colors.

This made me wonder if there was anything Elements is expecting to find in the SVG to make these work.
