I did not want to make noise, only contribute to the problem is found. And mention that it has occurred in markdown also.
… and show whether I mean the right console
Perhaps the problem lies not in Stacks, maybe in RapidWeaver or OSX.
As moderator, I discuss problems rather in the forum not in the background.
So many can learn something.
@Oscar - i love the forum too. it brought me to RapidWeaver. it’s a great tool for learning.
but it’s “a blade cuts both ways”: the forum can sometimes confuse too. we see this often in answering support email. when things change (like bugs getting fixed) then novice users, sometimes years later, “learn” out-of-date info.
bugs are temporary. forum posts last forever.
the forum is best when there’s a lot to learn. but when there is no workaround, and little for a user to do… then the costs to future users sometimes outweigh the benefits. what’s the best balance? tough to say.
but please know that when we ask folks to take things offline, there’s a good reason: happier users.
that said, i know some people just like the forum. that’s fine too. i’m happy to get any feedback i can get: telegrams, smoke signals, and fax: beggars can’t be choosers. so if the forum is what turns you on, please carry on.
Hello @isaiah
I agree. You speak from the perspective of the developer, that’s right.
You’re right, also for happy users
It’s all been said.
Happy Easter!
i try hard to be an advocate for the user; to see the world through their eyes.
over the long-haul, i think it’s the only way to be a successful developer.
happy users buy software.
