TotalCMS - can't save edits

I must be doing something screwy. I have an editor page with a TCMS Admin Text stack. Everything publishes ok.

When I try to save an edit, I get the little red x. What are possible causes?

Do you have a URL for your site?? Could be a PHP version issue, could be lots of things, can’t really tell without a URL…

I looked at my server log and got this message:

Passport check failed. You will need to register a passport to use TotalCMS further.
Thu, 26 Mar 2020 06:40:15 -0600 Domain trial period expired

But registration seems ok on my end…
