Unlock content with a email address

(Burr Chambless) #1

Been using Rapidweaver for a long time. But a client came up with a “Stop in tracks moment!”. They wanted what you see in Ugg WordPress the one plugin of “Enter your email to unlock a free item” like a chapter from a book.

Simple question is. How to do the same in Rapidweaver and or in a Stack?

Did a web/forum search and came o either nothing or ideas but nothing solid.

@yuzool does something similar with this stack https://www.yuzoolthemes.com/themes/unlock/ but it uses a social share. Not sure if it could be adopted to use emails instead.

Page safe or sitelok maybe

Thanks for the mention @jabostick

@Nightstar - yes it is only social sharing at the moment but will think about email sharing in the near future if possible.

If you use something like MailChimp you could do something like that effect already. Signup and get emailed the first chapter for free on autoresponder?

Email unlock would be awesome @yuzool

Lookup could handle this as well. And there’s a free trial so you can try it out.

@joeworkman’s Post Office stack suite comes with a stack called P.O. Box which will allow you to display content after a successful form submission.

Tnks one and all!

Found one! Its Also verifies by requiring the person to click on a link sent to them. Does not store anything on the site… Email you when they did register… Takes them to a page when done so can do almost anything there.

Works exactly how I needed it!
