Hello and good evening Weavers (german/cet time),
hope you and your family are well and and I wish them to stay that way and all these existing gods may protect us in this time…
Not often, that I find time to write here (busy, large family…lazy bones…), but I’m a attentive reader - and thanks to all’ of you and your engaged input!
Working as a multiple designer also with RW since 3.2… heavenward looking greetings to Oscar*** – but this day I updated my prelast 8.5.1 to 8.6 and I get only a crash…
Never had this before - all’ my stacks were always updated, last Stacks 4, lots JW’s, S4S, Foundry 1, BWD’s – on a MacBookPro 2016 (Mac OS X 10.11.6 (15G22010) – and now…? Nothing works. It closed always with a crash…
Pls - do you have any advice…?
Thanks
Roger

Thanks Mark & Doug for your fast reply.
After downgrading to »Version 8.5.1 (20823)« it works fine again for me…
I’m working with a MBP (Retina, 15’, Mitte 2015) - ElCaptain was ok - until yet, because I had to watch for CS6 also. I think, with 10.12 there is no way to work with my Adobe Products without upgrade to them also to CC… Always rabbit and hedgehog!
My Photoshop CS6 still works on macOS 10.14.6, with a couple of quirks. It will stop working, if I upgrade do macOS 10.15.x, though, so I am not going to upgrade this computer any further.
Hi Rob, thanks good news - I thought CS6 ends with 10.11… their were some problems in the past. So I will check it in the evening… Some »quirks« i can live with.
Greets Roger
Roger, if you have another computer that is not your main production one, try it first for upgrading, in case something doesn’t work as you expect. That’s what I always do when I upgrade macOS.
Hi there,
I will check my MBP2015 and ol’system 10.11 - and to be fair to the RW-Team and to all the StacksPros - thanks for the komplex job - I’d never a had a problem before. Mostly the problem was sitting in front of my mac…
Remain healthy and happy…
