Just learned of the AMP Project today. AMP is Accelerated Mobile Pages, an open source project that looks to be a problem the RapidWeaver community solved several years ago: Responsive Web Design (RWD).
As I recall RWD really jumpstarted within the RW universe with the introduction of YourHead’s Stacks plugin, and it’s grown ever since.
From the AmpProject.org landing page: “For many, reading on the mobile web is a slow, clunky and frustrating experience - but it doesn’t have to be that way. The Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP) Project is an open source initiative that embodies the vision that publishers can create mobile optimized content once and have it load instantly everywhere.”
Just wondering if any in the RapidWeaver community are involved.
