I’ve been having the same problem with 2 different projects and started wondering if it was related to my laptop going to sleep, or when I close the lid and open it up again (same idea). (does something become unstable / corrupt in this process?)
Also, I have a MBP 2012 that I run side by side with a brand new 2015 summer MBP. The older machine has never shown any of this behavior.

I have the same problem “project cannot be saved” for different projects (older and more recent) and therefore these projects cannot be exported etc. I tried the “save as” option and it worked but I wonder if anyone has found where the problem is coming from ? Is there a better solution ? I feel quite worried about the whole thing.

Hey, I decided that it must be a permissions based issue. (haha). So I went to the extreme measure of completely rebuilding all permissions on my laptop. (Console based Unix commands.)
Since I have done this about 10 days ago… no more issues.
Stupid luck or just brilliant intuition… who cares.
