narrowed down my issues with no html components disappearing
if I copy a html component straight from one project page to another, it works until I close all down and then reopen the new file in a different directory
how to you copy the html custom component from one project to another but not page to page but in the components section on the left
try again then I give up different project
think that now works, not finished yet
As I wrote most of these for practice rather than thinking ahead, I learnt quite a lot now
I tried putting my 3d spinning cube in the animation border component, one is percent the other pixels, need to change them both
First time I have tried grids so not finished that part
So put sinning cube with Elements logo inside at bottom
there are box circle triangle and multi clip path components as well
This is a known issue, copying Custom Components/Globals will not work between projects — they’ll break when you re-open the project, as it’s still referencing the other project.
This will be fixed in an upcoming beta. Stay tuned!

@dan I know you guys have a lot going on, but it has been almost 2 months on this issue and I really have a lot of components/ideas started and need to move components to separate projects, so I can have a clean ‘playground’ for each idea. Pretty please.

Sorry, this bug has slipped into the build because of the work we were doing under the hood. The workaround for now is to launch Elements first, then load the document (i.e don’t double click the project from the Finder to launch Elements).
We’ll get this fixed up for the next beta!
maybe im doing something wrong but that still doesn’t seem to work but as long as I dont have to re enter all the data ive put in I will wait till its fixed

still not working for me, with hover I placed in the properties, makes it hard to read in the template area unless your naming is good
bah, this is a bug again! Try using Command-C and Command-V into the new document…
