"Couldn't sign in to your FTP server" Error Message

I have recently updated to Rapidweaver 8.7 and receive the following error message when I attempt to upload one of my websites:“Couldn’t sign in to your FTP server”.

I have settings set to ftp upload and notice that other options are available. I have tried these and get the same error message. I would be grateful for some advice. Thank you.

Without more information, it’s going to be difficult to determine what is causing the problem.

  1. Who are you hosting with?
  2. A screenshot of the publishing setting
  3. What happens when you hit the test button on the publishing settings?
