Creating a Quiz

I’m planning to create a quiz for promotional purposes. The answers would be stored and the winner announced at the end of the competition period. The Quiz Maker at http://www.poll-maker.com/QuizMaker looks good but I wondered whether it had any advantages/disadvantages over simply creating a quiz using a form (such as the Foundation one). Anyone any ideas?

You could create something in Form loom and have the answers written to a Google Sheet.

You could use this in excel for marketing etc afterwords.

Thanks, Scott. I was thinking of using the Foundation form and MySQL, but FormLoom (or FormSnap) and Google Sheets would do, too. What I was really wondering was whether there were any advantages to Quiz Maker.

Maybe some reporting at the end with some graphs etc.

Yes, the key word being ‘after’. I’ve started building the quiz using Foundation forms and it is looking very good.

I haven’t got the form to update the database correctly yet but you might be interested in seeing the quiz I produced. It appears in a Reveal lightbox, which saves space. You can try the form but your answers will be lost!
