Demo mode / Publishing

(joe k) #1

Great prog , waiting till i have my site completed before buying , but is it possible to publish the pages i have made so far even if it is still in demo mode ??

Thanks Joe

Not sure if it’s still the case but, in the past, the demo version allowed you to publish but limited you to three pages

Not sure why you’re waiting if you’re going to purchase it anyway stop messing with the trial version.

Trial software and services are a great way to see if the product is going to work for your needs or not. Once you’ve determined that it’s going to work for you, it’s best to make the plunge.

If you have questions about publishing or any other features, just ask here. Plenty of folks will help out.

Nice. Couple of things though:

  1. Here is some additional CSS for your consideration ( paste it into the global CSS container then preview. If you hate it, just remove it).

    #title img {
    max-width: 140px;
    }

    #title small {
    font-size: 2.4rem;
    text-shadow: 2px 2px 2px #111;
    }

    h1.huge.text-center-md {
    text-shadow: 0px 2px 2px #111;
    -webkit-font-smoothing: antialiased;
    }

    nav ul li {
    font-size: 1.2em;
    }

    nav ul li a {
    padding: 0.8em 0.8em 0.8em;
    }

    nav {
    background: rgb(123, 81, 47);
    opacity: 0.9;
    }

  2. Consider changing your “Who we are” and “What we do” to be proper headers. Suggest H2 or H3.

  3. How is anyone supposed to get in touch with you?

Good first attempt!

First and foremost , thanks for your help and guidance , it is much appreciated , i am buying the " Squash" , to optimize my images , the website with the three pages are now up and running ,i have checked it with an seo checker on the net and one small problem appears that the image name that has the .jpg or .png at the end , well the seo checker does not seem to happy about that does not like the extensions and filename as an alt tag ,( see the source code for http://www.niphotos.com/tollymore-forest-park-stepping-stones-photography-photos.html http://www.niphotos.com/tollymore-forest-park-stepping-stones-photography-photos.html ) , also on the Tollymore and Landscape pages i would like to have the images as three in a row , can i do that ?? i am buying the software for my site from Realmac , i just want to get things right first of all with these three pages and really appreciate your help !!

Kind Regards Joe
