A new week, deserves a new Beta, so here’s beta 20 — It’s a goodie, enjoy!
What’s New in Beta 20?
- Components can now be dragged into Flex and Grid Components
- HTML is now escaped correctly in Text Components (use a Custom Component if you need HTML)
- Added new V2 Gallery Component (still a work-in-progress)
- Text: Fixed issue with setting link styles
- Button: Added dropzone support (perfect for adding SVGs)
- Standard Navigation: Added margin support for logo
- Fixed an issue where the node tree would sometimes cause crashes editing the page
- Improved Document saving so it doesn’t crash or display a warning telling the user an external application has modified the document!
Get the Update
Elements should prompt you while it’s running to let you know there’s an update, if it doesn’t you can select the “Check for Updates…” menu option from the “Elements” app menu.
Please note: Sometimes it takes a while for the update to propagate. if you don’t see the update in-app, you can download the latest build of Elements from the confirmation email you received as that link will ALWAYS give you the latest version.
Give Feedback
If you are using the beta, please post all feedback in the Elements Beta Feedback Forum. You can use the Elements > Send Feedback… menu item to automatically pre-fill the build number into a new topic.
