Elements Beta 35 (Build 23226)

Hello again,

This beta is a bit more developer-focused, with a brand-new backend API in the Elements Language. The new API allows us to build a more complete solution for the Form Component! We’ll have more to say on that soon, but for now, enjoy this fresh new build of Elements!

What’s New in Elements Beta 35 (Build 23226)?

  • Added a new Backend API to the Elements Language
  • All folders and files in a component pack’s shared/assets folder are now included in preview/publish.
  • Screen size icons now highlight correctly when editor is resized
  • Responsive dots now update correctly
  • Editor only sticks to the edge when resizing at XL and 2XL screen sizes
  • Added extra logging details for Elements Cloud
  • Container: Fixed numerous background and border hover issues
  • Standard Menu: Fixed mobile menu preview not being shown in Editor

Known Issues

We’re aware of some issues effecting text styling, these will be fixed in a future build once we’ve upgraded to Tailwind V4.

Get the Update

Elements should prompt you while it’s running to let you know there’s an update. If it doesn’t, you can select the “Check for Updates…” menu option from the “Elements” app menu.

Give Feedback

If you are using the beta, please post all feedback in the Elements Beta Feedback Forum. You can use the Elements > Send Feedback… menu item to automatically pre-fill the build number into a new topic.

Request a Feature

You can help make Elements even better by sharing your suggestions and voting on others.

Please remember to search before posting as it may have already been suggested. If your idea is already listed, you might want to upvote it. The more votes an idea gets the sooner it’ll get implemented.

Great to see things progressing on all fronts. Is there an ETA for the upgrade to Tailwind 4. I ask because this sounds like a lot more than just a CSS library update. Are you upgrading the logic as well?

@dan Can you provide more information on this feature?

The preliminary docs should help as it has an example, but do let me know if you have any specific questions!
