Since updating to RW 7.5.1 I get the error message “Error creating page” each time I’m adding a page to a project (see screenshot). It’s not related to a certain page type, but to all of them (Stacks, Styled Text, HTML…). Does anyone else also experience this behavior? And what could I do to get rid of it? By the way: the pages are actually added to the project just fine; it’s only this irritating error message that’s annoying me. I already restarted my iMac (OS X 10.12.6 Sierra) and of course RapidWeaver, but no change.
I do not think this error is related to the 7.5.1 update. Are you using Pluskit? If so, make sure you update to the latest version.
@dan I do have the latest version of Pluskit (4.0.2) installed. I just tried again RW version 7.4.1 and the error message does not appear. After switching to 7.5.1, the error is there again. So – in my humble opinion – it must have s.th. to do with RW 7.5.1.
I just tried to move all 3rd party plugins into a folder on my desktop and then restart RW 7.5.1 with absolutely no additional plugins: boom, the same error message again! 
A few minutes ago I did send an error report from within RW. Maybe that can help to find the issue…

Hmm, actually I think I may remember this issue was something to do with the contact form or blog plugin.
What pages are you trying to add, or preview?
Maybe if you could share steps or the project to recreate this issue we could get it fixed up (or offer a workaround).

Hi Dan,
as I said in my inital message, this happens with any(!) page type, so for example HTML, Offsite, Styled Text etc.
There are actually no steps to follow to make this issue appear. Simply start RW and add a page, that’s it. I’m not trying to preview anything, all happens in edit mode.

Hmm, so this is on a new blank project? Have you tried changing theme?
Could you save a project that shows this behaviour and upload it here so we can take a look?

thanks for getting back to me with this issue. Yes, it’s been happening with a blank project, when I add pages. So I’m sure it wouldn’t have helped a lot if I uploaded an empty project here. 
But the good news: the problem is solved! 
The key to the solution was your hint with changing the theme. I had set „Foundation“ as the default theme for months (or years?) now. But when I changed the default theme to „Alpha“, then quit RW and restarted it, the issue was gone. Then I selected Foundation as the default theme again, quit RW and restartet it. And… from there on everything’s working just fine when adding new pages, no error message anymore. Pheeeww…, what a relief! Once again thanks a lot for your help!

Glad you got it sorted, I’ll look into this error some more as it sounds very odd and shouldn’t be happening.
Now I know the details, I’ll see if I can re-create it here
