I tried to add a post to my blog page just now with a summary and body. The summary previews fine but the body page doesnt. I get a message saying Error Writing Page Content and when I click OK the next page says The Requested Page Could Not Be Found. I haven’t made any changes to the site.
Hi @gallifrey55,
Have you tried reversing the polarity using a sonic screwdriver?
Just kidding of course - I was triggered by your user name
In all seriousness: the problem here is the file’s name:
“contemplative-prayer-1-introductionContemplative prayer is somtetimes known as…” [etc etc.] in ways too deep to comprehend.php.
That bit of text about the prayer in the error message is not a summary - that’s actually the file’s name. As it contains commas and is probably too long (I haven’t counted the number of characters though), that’s not allowed by macOS (and not by your server’s OS eventually either). This is what RapidWeaver is telling you.
The solution is to rename this file in your project to something else, then upload the site again.
Cheers,
Erwin
Thanks very much.
I travel through space and time. It’s what I do.
