Hey everyone so I’ve been building a few shops with RW lately and I decided to make a project file template for Foundation and RapidCart Pro. If you want to save yourself some time on your next RC project take a look here! https://dylanbanksdesign.com/rctemplate/
Hey @SteveB yes the template is available to download here: https://dylanbanksdesign.com/projects/
Cheers
Here at Foreground we want to compliment you for your amazing work.
A powerful project that enhances all RapidCart Pro capabilities.
The “cart in menu” addition is the icing on the cake!
A+
Excellent. I was waiting for Foundation or Foundry projects to be used with RapidCart Pro… sweetness! Time to buy! By the way @rob, is Foundry compatible with RapidCart Pro ?
RapidCart Pro should work correctly with Foundry, but I suggest you to contact Foundry developer to verify it.
@SteveB Hi Steve awesome! Yes as soon as you open it your free to customise if as much as you like as its all built with stacks.
Hi Steve thanks for the feedback, much appreciated. Let me know if you need anything else.
Hi Steve, you should be seeing this:
The first two “Template” stacks should be the overlay stacks which is part of Sections Box. Double check you have the latest version installed or try re-installing Sections Box.
It also looks like you don’t have Paragraph Pro (BWD) stack installed. That should fix the two template stacks which has collection in. If you are still having issues after this then drop me an email at info@dylanbanksdesign.com and I will send you another copy of the project.
Cheers Dylan
@SteveB You need to have the ProStyles stack installed in the library to see the shared background stack that SectionsBox uses - that is why you are getting a template.
You don’t need ProSyles on the page, it is just that this is the stack set that contains the background child along with a lot of other goodies that are shared between quite a few of my stacks. You can download it from the SectionsBox product page next to the Important
message https://www.bigwhiteduck.com/stacks/sectionsbox/
@jochenabitz It should also be in the required stacks list FYI.
Hi Andrew, It is not my project.
Should be interesting for @dylan
@tav Ah yes your right, it should be in my requirements list. Appologies @SteveB
Oops - sorry @jochenabitz Force of habit typing your name apologies.
@SteveB If it is just stuck on the Foundation loader then it is because there is a JS error on the page - the backgrounds wont affect that. If this is the case, it may well be related to the migration to RW 7.1.x and you can try the stacks update posted here https://yourhead.slack.com/archives/chat/p1478556919000287
@SteveB There is a bug with RCP that prevents you from placing the actual cart stack in the Top Bar, while having a store stack on the same page. That’s why I used an icon linked to the actual cart on the “All products” page. Take a look here: https://dylanbanksdesign.com/rctemplate/shop/?catalog/all/-/date/1 I believe they working on a fix for this.
@SteveB Still doesn’t work for me with both the cart stack and store stack in the same page. However, if you want to change the font colour of the cart stack it’s probably best to ask @rob on that one. It will be something like this but It may not be the correct way:
.uk-icon-shopping-basket {
color: #000000
}
.rc-extras-cart-total{
color: #000000
}
.uk-hidden-small{
color: #000000
}
I’m lost in the conversation.
Do you want to change font style of Cart button?
Ok so as a few people have asked, RapidShop is now compatible with RW6. Cheers Dylan
Dylan, I’m about to pull the trigger on your shop project. But can my clients add new products by themselves? Or just edit existing ones? Do they need RW or can this be done via the TCMS integration?
Hi @therealmf clients would need to have rapidweaver if they want to add/edit products themselves. There is an admin section that you can configure that will allow clients to update the stock levels of a product without the need for RW. I don’t believe there is a way to use TCMS with RC unfortunately.
Let me know if you need anything else.
