Header tags on blog items e.g. open graph?

I’m using the default blog page for news items. I just noticed that Facebook grabbed the wrong image when a blog item was shared to Facebook. Can I add open graph meta tags to individual news entries?

I tried adding this to the html on the page

but the scraper debugging tool at https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/ complains "Meta Tags In Body" "Your page has meta tags in the body instead of the head. This may be because your HTML was malformed and they fell lower in the parse tree. Please fix this in order for the tags to be usable."

I believe the best you can do is use a “generic” image for the entire blog… ie: you can define og tags but the same tag is applied to every blog page. One of the flaws of the blog.
